Co-Founder & Adviser

Having worked with Artis from it’s formation and for some 20 years, it has been wonderful to witness children experiencing our unique interactive programmes in an inclusive and ongoing way in schools. Learning creatively with Artis not only enhances the curriculum that children are studying in their classrooms in a joyful and a magical way, but is fundamental in developing inquisitive and creative thinkers to help make a better future for all…

Nigel started his career as a professional horn player before moving to work in education; teaching music in a secondary school setting, working in music services and heading up music provision at county level. He also delivered professional development work for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) for over 20 years, travelling widely in UK and internationally as well delivering lectures in many of the country’s music conservatoires.
