I first discovered Artis while working as a professional performer, specialising in movement and music. At the time, I was engaged with both mainstream and fringe contemporary dance organisations, as well as circus, theatre, and opera—working nationally and internationally. I developed a strong passion for inclusive creative practice in the community, which became central to both my own artistic work and my teaching in universities and vocational training institutes.

Ensuring that every child, everywhere, has access to the beauty and playfulness of learning creatively alongside a performing artist is important to me. It’s wonderful to witness the opportunities it provides children to discover a strong sense of self, build confidence, and begin to see both the world and themselves in new and empowering ways.
