Artis annual report 2021/22
Artis annual report 2021/22
This week saw the release of our 2021/22 Annual Report, a comprehensive document demonstrating the success and impact that Artis has had over the past academic year. In a year that saw us return to live sessions in schools following the COVID-19 pandemic, and many exciting partnerships and projects, it is exciting to be able to celebrate our successes in this way.
The Annual Report demonstrates that over the 2021/22 academic year:
- 7,740 hours of weekly performing arts sessions were delivered in schools.
- 9,845 children were engaged in weekly wellbeing and learning programmes.
- 2,340 hours of training and mentoring were provided for our Artis Specialists.
- Over 1,500 hours of CPD training were provided for over 500 teachers and headteachers across the UK.
The report also includes quotes about our work from the people who it touches most – children and their teachers:
“I really enjoy the Artis sessions. Twang is always encouraging us to try our best, and this makes me feel confident. The vocabulary generated in the sessions are really supportive as I can use it in my writing.”
“The sessions are also great for the pupils’ wellbeing. Working with Artis has been a great investment for school and has brought literacy to life!”
“It has given me the confidence to teach music with activities and ideas that I now know the children love doing.”
