Taking place in the breathtaking main gallery space of Guildhall Art Gallery in the City of London, children embark on a journey into the world of art and maths, bringing to life one of Britain’s largest displayed oil-on-canvas paintings through creative dance and drama. The workshop will ignite curiosity as students physically and creatively explore the mathematics hidden within an awe-inspiring painting – Copley’s The Defeat of the Floating Batteries at Gibraltar – supporting their understanding of number, measurement and geometry as well as art and history.
